Week Two

Hello!
I hope everyone is staying cool and hydrated.  Please make sure that you are drinking your water.

Well, I completed Week One of my weight loss journey and now I have begun Week Two.  I am happy to say that I have lost 4.8 pounds.  I am so happy, but I realize that most of those pounds lost reflects water weight.    However, I am glad.  I went to the store today for several items and forgot the one item that I needed.  I wanted to buy a tape measure to measure my waist line and other parts of my body to see the shrinkage there.  I guess I need to put a reminder in my phone so I can get that done asap.

I realize it's too early in the process to notice anything physically, but I am feeling more energized.  It's probably due to the fact that I'm getting in between 7-11 servings of veggies and fruits a day.  I guess you can't help but feel more energized.  In terms of exercising, I was so WINDED last week.  It was frustrating, but I kept with it and today I didn't feel like I was going to totally pass out..lol

My goal this week is to increase my time on the treadmill 5 minutes each day making sure that I am really focusing on my core and posture.  I wish I could run, but I can't right now while this left knee is acting funky.  My last goal is to make sure I am eating enough protein.  I felt miserable last week and I think it was because of the lack of protein throughout my day.
